Let me introduce myself
From the beginning
Food and hospitality have been a huge part of my life since my teenage years, and now I am excited to extend my love for both with my community. Almost ten years ago, I started my career here in Charleston, SC, as a pastry chef, after graduating from, Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC. I gained an array of experiences working in 5 star hotels and fine dining restaurants, before I stepped into the serving side of the industry at the Kiawah Island Club.
how i got started
Working in and around the prestigious golf club at Kiawah Island, I was introduced to many amazing families that live on the island or locally. A few members discovered my previous work experience, and I was asked to make pastries, cakes and provide private chef services at their homes. The feeling of being welcomed into their home, customizing menus, and watching them enjoy my food and company influenced my dream job.
Taking a leap of faith
I want Blended Palette Catering to be more than just your typical catering company. My love for food and hospitality should spark relationships within our community. Share with me some of your favorite types of food or something you've wanted to try. I understand people have restrictions that make it hard to accommodate a vast majority, therefore, let me create something everyone can indulge. Every experience and meal will be designed exclusively for each client's party.
